Days go on forever But i have not left your side We can chase the dark together If you go then so will I

I’m not one of the Grell fangirls who is of the opinion that he wants to be physically female nor do I even think that he is a true transvestite (guilty as charged), but I do think he enjoys looking beautiful, and I could see something like this happening.
Besides, both of them are gorgeous and this art is beautiful.

Of my Top 30 favorite anime women, she’s probably the most beautiful.  I find her absolutely stunning.

I really appreciated how Ciel treated Madame Red’s death.  It showed both immaturity and maturity.  It also showed a warmth that we hadn’t gotten to see of Ciel, but it also showed a new level of coldness.  Intriguing.

Top 30 Anime Women
Favorite #22
Name: Angelina Durless (aka. Madame Red)
Anime: Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji
Seiyu: Romi Park
Voice Actress: Lydia Mackay
Favorite Physical Characteristic: Red
Favorite Personality Trait: Warped sense of justice/revenge
Ships?: Grell Sutcliff
Analytical Rant:  I feel as if I’ve spent quite a bit of time discussing Madame Red, especially in relation to Grell, so I’m not going to belabor the point here.  I will say this though, I absolutely love Madame Red and find her to be an incredibly intriguing character.
I always like characters who are cruel due to some reason that eventually becomes apparent yet who have this genuine compassion and concern for others.  It’s one of those things that has always intrigued me—the oxymoronic nature of the kind sadist.  Of course, it’s more the dark, twisted side that gets me going, but the dichotomy is fun.
Another reason Madame Red is oh-so-fun for me is becuase of the gender commentary Toboso is doing with the whole arc.  Not only do you have a female serial killer, but you have a female serial killer who holds and teaches very stringent gender roles that she herself doesn’t follow.  It’s really great work.
Song: “Anthem of the Angels” by Breaking Benjamin.  I really think about the lyrics in relation to three different arenas of Madame Red’s life. 1) To Vincent Phantomhive, her first love and her motivation, 2) To her victims, the projections of her rage and inner conflict, and 3) To herself, Grell’s victim and victim of her own passion.  It fits for me.
